We’re happy to report that at the private, AmeriCorps-only screening, Ursula went down and love (and listening to one’s heart) saved the day!
CIS Jacksonville serves students in Duval County Public Schools every day by surrounding them with a community of support, empowering them to stay in school and achieve in life.Ā The organization’s programs impact struggling students through case management, literacy tutoring and afterschool programs. Staff, including AmeriCorps members, work hand-in-hand with school administration, teachers, parents and neighborhood partners ā including local government, businesses, other nonprofits and civic organizations ā to bolster student success.Ā Learn more about the organization.
