We’re so excited to welcome the new California Veterans Corps (CalVet Corps) program to the America Learns Network community!
For those who have served in our country’s military, transitioning back into civilian life can be a very challenging process: What services are available to help? What career is available next? CalVet Corps will help ease this transition and connect Los Angeles-area veterans with the support they have earned.
CalVet Corps is being led by the Weingart Center in Los Angeles, which we’ve been working with on another AmeriCorps program of theirs for some time.
