That’s why we’re especially grateful to share that Community Mediation Maryland is continuing with the America Learns Impact Suite as it launches its new National Direct AmeriCorps program, Community Mediation Corps.
A partnership that’s growing with the program
Community Mediation Maryland first used the Impact Suite as a Maryland AmeriCorps subgrantee. That experience went so well that, as the organization moves into its National Direct chapter, it’s keeping the Impact Suite for member files and timesheets.
There’s plenty to figure out during a transition like this. We’re glad the team can carry forward a system and a working relationship they already know.
Creating space to be heard
Through Community Mediation Corps, AmeriCorps members help make mediation more accessible in Maryland, Massachusetts, and North Carolina. Their service includes school-based mediation and mediation supporting people preparing to return to their communities after incarceration.
This work takes listening seriously. It creates room for people to explain what matters to them, hear one another, and work through difficult conversations.
The staff and members making those conversations possible deserve dependable support of their own.
Continuing, together
Our AmeriCorps member management tools bring member files and timesheets together, giving staff more room to support the people doing the work.
We’ll keep helping Community Mediation Maryland manage member documentation and timesheets as its program enters this next chapter. And we’ll keep listening as the team’s needs evolve.
