In late April, AmeriCorps programs across Georgia received devastating news: all state-based programs would be terminated following the DOGE decision. The impact was immediate. Teams were left scrambling, programs halted, and service members caught in limbo.
But not everyone stopped.
Youth Villages, a long-time partner of ours in Georgia, decided to keep going.
Even without AmeriCorps funding, they’ve found a way to continue their life-changing work—ensuring their now former AmeriCorps members can keep showing up for young people in need.
We’re proud to play a small role in that.
Since the state-purchased system for tracking AmeriCorps member hours is no longer available, we stepped in to help.
Youth Villages has used our Impact Suite for years to track student outcomes, improve service delivery, and tell powerful stories about their work to funders and stakeholders. Now, they’re using our timesheet module as well—sans fees—so they can manage everything in one place while wrapping up the year and planning for 2025-26.
This moment is tough, but it’s also a reminder that there are multiple paths through this moment. We’re grateful to stand with partners like Youth Villages who keep going in spite of the moment’s challenges.
