We’re honored to welcome the North Carolina Commission on Volunteerism & Community Service to the community of state service commissions using the Impact Suite for simple, ease-filled AmeriCorps grants management.
The commission will use the Impact Suite to oversee, support, and strengthen AmeriCorps programs across the state—handling grants management, compliance, financials, AmeriCorps member timesheets, member files, progress reporting, communications, and more.
And they made this shift at one of the most precarious moments in national service history.
Since the April DOGE terminations, service commissions and programs alike have been scrambling to recalibrate. Now, with new threats from OMB that could withhold all AmeriCorps funding for new and recompete grants, every decision carries weight.
Even with all of this happening in the foreground, the North Carolina Commission is still striving to make life better for programs and its own staff across the state.
They pivoted from our leading competitor that serves commissions to us—because in this moment, state service commissions need systems that move fast, reduce risk, and actively strengthen resilience.
This isn’t just a tech migration. It’s a strategic shift:
From compliance overload to clarity.
From siloed systems to integrated support.
From burnout management to mission alignment.
The Commission’s decision is a powerful vote of confidence in the AmeriCorps programs they serve—and in their future.
To the NC Commission: Thank you for your leadership, your vision, and your trust. We’re proud to stand beside you and can’t wait to deliver.
