It’s time to knock the socks off your funders, partners, and other stakeholders! Join us for this interactive skills-building session to learn how to tell powerful stories with all of the metrics you have piled up in your Excel files, Google Sheets, and data systems. We will use examples of service and volunteering to illustrate the fundamentals of data storytelling, including concrete steps to improve data stories immediately. The workshop will take place on Thursday, February 8th 12:30-2:00 pm ET (9:30 am PT/10:30 am MT/11:30 am CT)

Let’s make those metrics tell a powerful story! The incredible people from Data Shine will be sharing how to go from exported spreadsheets, to powerful visuals without much work.

You’ll gain a clear understanding of core data visualization strategies, including perspectives on how those strategies work through an equity framework. After the workshop, use your new skills to better visualize your quantifiable data – whether the data comes via the America Learns Impact Suite or any other data source.
