We’re so excited for the opportunity to begin serving Ventura County Library’s adult literacy program.
Since 1984, the program has helped adults improve reading and writing skills so that they perceive positive impact on their lives in such areas as self-esteem, employment, family life, and community involvement.
The Library’s volunteer tutors serve at both county branches and at a local jail, helping to make sure that inmates feel that they have the skills they need to live a productive life upon release. Each tutoring site is staffed by a professional educator.
Welcome!
