United Way of Greater Atlanta’s Project Health Access is the first public health-focused AmeriCorps program in the South to invest in the AmeriCorps Impact Suite for its operations.
Project Health Access helps clinics and healthcare organizations meet the growing needs of Greater Atlanta’s uninsured, underinsured and homeless populations. The program accomplishes its goals by increasing access to critical health services, care coordination, and health education. Since 2010, Project Health Access has served more than 25,000 individuals in Greater Atlanta, providing crucial health services for uninsured and underinsured individuals and necessary benefits enrollment for the homeless.
