We’re so happy to welcome Communities In Schools of San Antonio to the growing community of Texas-based AmeriCorps grant recipies that are using the Impact Suite!
CIS-SA AmeriCorps members provide research-based integrated supports to students at-risk of dropping out of school. Placed directly across nearly 70 public schools in Bexar County, AmeriCorps members engage in the following activities:

Provide intentional case-management services to a minimum of 5 economically disadvantaged students who are at-risk of dropping out of school

Co-facilitate one group to address common barriers among students and provide a supportive environment in which students can build relationships, develop critical skills, and learn from the AmeriCorps Member and their peers

Coordinate services within the CIS Six Components, including Supportive Guidance and Counseling, Health and Human Services, Parent and Family Engagement, College and Career Readiness, Enrichment, and Academic Support. Activities vary depending on program
OneStar Foundation-funded CIS-SA turned to the Impact Suite when it was looking for the long-sought one-stop-shop to manage member files, document signing, timesheets, student management, impact tracking, and alumni engagement.
