The Green River Area Development District (GRADD) is a regional planning agency serving the communities of Daviess, Hancock, Henderson, McLean, Ohio, Union and Webster counties in Kentucky. GRADD offers assistance in the fields of aging, health and social services; community and economic development; transportation planning; and workforce development.
Since 1997, GRADD’s AmeriCorps program — the Senior Connections AmeriCorps program — has served partner agencies in the GRADD area since 1997, reducing the rate of food insecurity for area senior citizens and assisting them in their ability to live independently in their own homes, to have an effective social support system, and a reliable and sustainable source of nutrition.
Earlier this fall, GRADD staff began searching for an AmeriCorps timesheet solution that would be truly friendly for its members, many of whom have less experience with Internet use and whose ages span into the 90s. After conducting a thorough review, GRADD found that the Impact Suite platform was the easiest to use for its members.
