You have a great idea for an AmeriCorps program, but you can’t do it all by yourself. You need host site partners who share your vision, support your goals, and follow the grant rules. Partners who can help you scale up your impact, reach more people, and bring more resources. Partners who can create a positive and rewarding experience for your AmeriCorps members.
But finding and working with partners is not easy. It requires trust, communication, and mutual benefit. It also requires a lot of planning and preparation. How do you recruit the right partners for your program? How do you train them to host AmeriCorps members effectively? How do you keep them engaged and motivated throughout the service year?
These are some of the questions that Sharon Tewksbury-Bloom will answer in her workshop Recruitment: Preparing Host Sites on June 21st. Sharon is an expert in AmeriCorps program management and partnership development. She has worked with over 100 AmeriCorps programs and 20 State Service Commissions across the country. She knows what it takes to build strong and successful partnerships that benefit everyone involved.
