After successfully completing one’s AmeriCorps term of service and enrolling in the National Service Trust, AmeriCorps alumni become eligible to receive the Segal AmeriCorps Education Award. AmeriCorps Alums use the award to repay qualified student loans and to pay current educational expenses at eligible institutions of higher education and training programs.
Current members and recent alumni often come to us with questions about who they can connect with to make best use of their Education Awards. While our team is staffed by AmeriCorps alumni and former program staff, we don’t hold all the answers.
So on April 7th from 9 – 10:30 AM, we’re bringing together a panel of AmeriCorps alumni to share a treasure trove of wisdom on how they made best use of their Ed Awards. Come with tons of questions as this will be a highly interactive experience!
The workshop is open to current members, alumni, program staff, and service commission staff!

If you’re an AmeriCorps member currently serving in an organization that uses the Impact Suite, the workshop is totally free for you! Just let your supervisor know you’d like to attend and you’ll get in.
