Welcome to the Livermore Public Library!

Established in 1986, the Livermore Public Library’s Literacy Program pairs adults who want to improve their basic reading and writing skills with trained volunteer tutors.  Since its inception, over 4,000 adults have been served by the program.

LPL’s adult literacy program is latest California Library Literacy Services-funded program to adopt the Impact Suite to manage tutor and student records, track and support student learning, provide ongoing training and support to tutors, and to easily communicate with tutors and learners via text and e-mail.

More than one third of the state’s CLLS-funded adult literacy programs are now using the Impact Suite to ensure that staff can focus nearly all of their energy on what matters: learners and their tutors.

Welcome!
