Join artist Bravo Valenti, renowned master scribbler and multimedia artist, who has guided non-artists and highly skilled artists alike on scribbling journeys that are truly transformative, even life-changing.
“Scribbling is a universal childhood experience across all cultures,” explains Bravo, who wrote extensively about his own experiences with scribbling in his Amazon #1 new release book, Thank You. I Love You. “It plays an essential role in brain development, yet well before we even become adults, most of us stop scribbling. Even if we draw, paint, or doodle, we do not scribble. I set out to discover what would happen if an adult just scribbled, and I will share that with you in the workshop.”
Bravo will be joined by international deejay Super Jem, a high-energy global music deejay and live performer. Her beats and soundscapes will help guide us through a range of emotions and energy as we let go of all judgment and just scribble—and then discover where it takes us.
About the facilitators:
Artist Bravo Valenti is a photographer, filmmaker, painter, spoken word performer, medium and master scribbler. As the author of the non-fiction Amazon #1 New Release in Modern Philosophy, Thank You. I Love You. Bravo has also been described as a “futurist and social critic.” He and his work have been featured in LA Weekly, Apple News, Variety and Deadline.com. Born and raised in New York, he has spent the past 18 years in Los Angeles, where he unexpectedly began his artistic and spiritual transformation at age fifty-seven, proving “you’re never too old to be re-born.” Bravo believes that we are standing at the threshold of either humanity’s self-annihilation or evolution to a higher state of consciousness. He believes it is his mission and the responsibility of artists everywhere to help the world avoid the former and achieve the latter.
Deejay Super Jem does more than spin- she is a visual artist, singer-songwriter and live performer with an extensive background in the healing arts, shamanism and Kabala, who seamlessly weaves together electronica, global beats, folk music, healing frequencies and more to create transformative aural soundscapes. She has performed at private parties for David and Victoria Beckham, Marc Anthony, the VMA’s and more. She takes audiences on a sonic trip around the world, with her curated collection of music from the Caribbean, Brazil and her native Colombia. Whether it’s ambient music for a business setting or hardcore party-time, she knows how to create the right flow and perfect mood. Her high energy, hyper-positive personality and mane of flaming red hair ignite any environment. When only “extraordinary” will do, celebrities and event planners turn to Super Jem. She is based in Los Angeles and travels extensively.
