Our hearts are overflowing right now…
We’re so grateful to work with some of the highest performing social impact organizations out there, and it’s just so incredibly exciting when philanthropic leaders like MacKenzie Scott recognize those organizations.
Yesterday, MacKenzie announced her next round of donations. Three of the organizations — FoodCorps, Youth Villages, and YouthBuild (we work with the Louisville chapter) — are ones that use the Impact Suite for their AmeriCorps programs. It was also thrilling to see other AmeriCorps-funded organizations receive donations, including City Year, Citizen Schools, Reading Partners, and Saga Education.
These donations are such a strong testament to the extraordinary work of these three organizations’ AmeriCorps members, site supervisors, and program staff.
We’re also inspired by MacKenzie’s generosity to so many organizations across this country. Her approach to trust-based giving is modeling a bold, more equitable type of philanthropic giving.
So excited over here to continue innovating so that these and other organizations we serve can continue strengthening our world to the greatest possible extent.
