Upcoming Virtual Summit from AmeriCorps: “Let’s Take a Journey Exploring The Power of Strategy, Data and Accessibility”

We’re really excited about AmeriCorps’ Office of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Accessibility’s first-ever AmeriCorps DEIA Virtual Summit: “Let’s Take a Journey”. The summit is taking place on Tuesday, April 30th at 12PM Eastern. 

Summit Details:
Attend the summit to learn foundational DEIA concepts linked to the power of strategy, data, and accessibility. See how integrating those concepts into organizational culture and business practices may increase equitable outcomes for all AmeriCorps stakeholders and the communities being serve. 

There will be back-to-back sessions where participants can choose from two of the three tracks:

    •  Exploring Data to Increase Equitable Outcomes
    • Granting Access: Dismantling Able-ism And Embracing Neurodiversity
    • Strategic Alignment for Organizational Success and Community Impact.

Panel Members:
Nathaniel Benjamin, Chief Diversity and Inclusion Officer at AmeriCorps, will lead a signature executive panel with the following industry leaders:  

    • Alvin Warren, Board Member, AmeriCorps Board of Directors
    • Veda Ajamu – Chief, DEI Programs and Community Engagement, The National Civil Rights Museum  
    • Elaine P. Ho – Chief Diversity Officer, National Aeronautical Space Administration (NASA)    
    • Yesenia Martinez – Program Manager, The Volcker Alliance
