916 Ink is Sacramento’s arts-based creative writing and literacy nonprofit that provides workshops and tutoring to transform Sacramento youth into strong readers, confident communicators, and published authors. The organization’s programs increase literacy skills, improve vocabulary, teach empathy, positively impact social and emotional learning, and expand communication skills.
The organization also leads the 916 STEAM Academy, an AmeriCorps program that provides standard-aligned workshops and tutoring for 1st through 12th grade students throughout Sacramento County.
We’re honored that 916 Ink has selected the Imapct Suite as its platform to stay compliant with AmeriCorps member file and timesheet regulations so that both staff and members can direct far more energy towards the children the organization serves (and less towards grant compliance worries, desk audits, and the like).
With the Impact Suite, when desk audit season rolls around, 916 Ink staff will no longer need to organize and upload documents into its state service commission’s portal. Instead, program officers will be able to remotely log in, do the reviews they need to do, and let everyone go on with life.
