It’s a thrill and honor to begin serving Hindman Settlement School’s brand new AmeriCorps program!
Established in 1902, Hindman Settlement School was the first rural social settlement school established in America and is currently the most successful.
Through expertise, experience, and respect, the school brings inspirational, life-changing educational services to children with dyslexia and their parents. The school’s new AmeriCorps program will be doing just that, through both school year and summertime programming in Central Appalachia.
