Healthy Futures Oklahoma places AmeriCorps State/National members at nonprofits to deliver nutrition education classes, support enrollment in food assistance programs, assist in food delivery at food pantries & farmers markets, support community garden programs, and implement physical activity programs in communities across Oklahoma.
The Oklahoma Opportunities Program places AmeriCorps State/National members at nonprofits serving rural and underserved communities across Oklahoma to expand opportunities related to educational attainment and employment. Members’ chief focus is to help their nonprofits improve and expand service delivery systems.
The VISTA program strengthens the capacity of nonprofits across the state — from workforce investment boards to organizations focused on homelessness and new parent support.
