We’re thrilled to welcome the Furman College Advising Corps to the community of programs using the AmeriCorps Impact Suite.
Furman University College Advising Corps places seven full-time college advisers in all seven high schools in Lancaster and Chester counties to help students navigate the often complex college search and application process.
The Corps is a part of the national College Advising Corps organization, which works to increase the number of low-income, first-generation college, and underrepresented high school students who enter and complete higher education. To deliver on this mission, the organization places well-trained, recent college graduates from 24 partner programs as full-time college advisers in our nation’s high schools.
