The Youth Villages Inner Harbour Campus is one of Georgia’s largest psychiatric residential treatment programs for children and youth with serious emotional disturbances. Serving young people throughout the Southeast since 1962, the Inner Harbour Campus merged with Youth Villages in the fall of 2009.
The 1,200 acre woodland setting just outside of Atlanta offers a therapeutic environment that includes a lake, a sports field with a running track and playgrounds for recreational activities. Hiking trails, canoeing activities, a ropes course and equine therapy enhance treatment as well.
The Youth Villages AmeriCorps program began in 2000 and has been recognized by Innovations in Civic Participation as one of the 52 most innovative AmeriCorps programs in the country. Most recently, the program was selected as a Corporation for National Service (CNCS) 2017 Harkin Excellence in AmeriCorps Award winner and as the Atlanta Community Tool Bank’s “Volunteer Team of the Year.”
We’re honored that the AmeriCorps program is now using the AmeriCorps Impact Suite to track and manage all of its performance measurement and outcome data. Welcome!
