How the Newport Public Library Moved from Salesforce to the Impact Suite

Newport Beach Public Library

The Newport Public Library is one of 30+ California library systems that use the Impact Suite to manage, track the impact of, and report out powerful stories of their adult literacy programming.  For years, NPL used a customized version of Salesforce to manage its program, using that platform to handle tutor enrollment, learner enrollment and management, learner progress and outcome tracking, and reporting to the California State Library for grant compliance purposes.

But last year, the Library made a shift from Salesforce to the Impact Suite because the Library needed a far simpler way of doing business — especially since the adult literacy program didn’t have a Salesforce admin on site to regularly customize and update things.  The Impact Suite is custom-built for social impact efforts; even more, it’s fully-customizable without needing any code or complex settings changes.  Plus, the Impact Suite comes with unlimited, hands-on support from our team of Client Success Managers who have led programs themselves.

Below, please find a clip from a recent support call we had with NPL’s adult literacy program coordinator.  In the video, you’ll hear a bit about how the Impact Suite feels as compared to the program’s prior use of Salesforce.
