Inc. Highlights our Annual Hibernation Practice

Here at America Learns, we often look to nature for innovative ideas on how to best serve our clients. Towards those ends, several years ago, we began experimenting with an annual “hibernation” practice. For two months every year, we freeze our outbound sales efforts and use that time to review the previous year and to make concrete, significant changes in operations and/or culture to provide even better services to our clients.

Intentionally pausing every year has had a number of benefits for us and our clients on both business and personal levels.  And while pausing sales efforts for two months doesn’t sound very American, the slowdown has actually allowed us to grow faster than every before.

Inc. recently published an article that reviews how organizations worldwide are effectively turning to nature for inspiration.  We’re so grateful to be included in the article, which you can access here.
