Lead For America aims to build a leadership force of moral, dynamic, locally-rooted, and long-term committed leaders serving the communities they call home in every corner of this country. Since 2018, the organization has created more than 200 paid, full-time Fellowships for outstanding young leaders nationwide. In 2021, Lead For America became one of the earliest-stage organizations to ever receive full funding of a national service program through AmeriCorps.
As the organization scales to serve more and more communities, LFA is migrating from another platform to the Impact Suite to handle key HR and AmeriCorps timesheets compliance tasks to help Fellows, Fellow supervisors, and LFA staff shift mounds of time from administrative tasks to mission-focused work.
