We’re thrilled to celebrate one of our valued clients, the Homeless & Housing Coalition of Kentucky (HHCK), for their exceptional work through their Homes for All AmeriCorps program. Recently recognized by AmeriCorps for delivering a high return on investment (ROI), this program is creating life-changing outcomes for individuals and families across Kentucky experiencing homelessness or housing insecurity.
The Homes for All program utilizes AmeriCorps State and National members to provide critical housing services, while AmeriCorps VISTA members bolster capacity-building efforts at partner organizations. Together, these members address urgent needs, such as reducing homelessness and improving access to affordable housing, while also driving lasting community improvements.
An independent ROI analysis conducted by ICF highlights just how impactful this work has been:
- For every dollar invested, the program generates an estimated **$3.14 to $8.68** in benefits.
- Federal support for the program sees even greater returns, with an estimated ROI of **$3.85 to $10.65 per dollar**.
- These outcomes are fueled by decreased government expenditures, reduced homelessness, and better employment and education outcomes for AmeriCorps members.
