The East Boston Neighborhood Health Center is the largest community health center in Massachusetts, a leading health care provider in its service area, and among the largest community health centers in the country. Today, it’s the only health center in New England, and one of the few in the country to provide continuous care.
EBNHC expands its scope and services based on the needs of the community and routinely participates in collaborative assessments and planning forums to understand the changing needs of its patients and community. As a part of that process, EBNHC recently applied for and secured funding from the CDC and AmeriCorps to create one of the first Public Health AmeriCorps programs in the country. As the organization is growing its involvement in AmeriCorps, program leadership recognized that it needed to invest in a more robust and more efficient platform to handle AmeriCorps member files and timesheets. We’re so honored and absolutely excited that the organization chose to migrate to the Impact Suite as its platform.
