We’re excited to welcome Tennessee’s Community Assistance Corporation as one of the latest organizations to invest in the AmeriCorps Impact Suite. TCAC will use the Impact Suite with both of its AmeriCorps programs: Making Veterans Priority and Community Cares.
Making Veterans Priority helps homeless veterans and their families access the resources they need, while Community Cares provide housing and other supportive services to frail, challenged, and disabled citizens. Community Cares was nationally recognized by Innovators in Civic Participation and AARP as a model senior care program. The organization’s AmeriCorps members are placed at service locations across the state and provide services to 26,000 clients annually.
