The Tuolumne County Library provides free one-on-one, confidential tutoring for adults wanting to improve their reading, writing, math, or other skills. The hours and locations are flexible, designed to fit the busy schedules of adult learners. Learners work at their own pace on the skills needed to improve their lives.
The Sierra Nevada-region library receives funding from CLLS (California Library Literacy Services) to fund its adult literacy efforts. It’s the latest library in the state to invest in the Student Success Impact Suite, allowing the program’s small staff to streamline its management and data collection efforts so that staff have time to strengthen and grow the program.
