Welcome to Legacy Corps for Veterans & Military Families!

Legacy Corps

Based at Arizona State University, Legacy Corps for Veterans and Military Families (LCVMF) is a project that provides care partner support services for veterans and military families.  Since 2001, the program has been meeting the needs for alternate respite care strategies, specifically for veteran and military caregivers.

Ultimately, the program helps keep families in their communities longer, postponing or avoiding institutional care completely.

Care partner support is provided by deploying AmeriCorps members through seven partner agencies across four states.  Current partner agencies include Jannus, Alzheimers Project, Concilio CDS, the Florida Department of Elder Affairs, MorseLife, Pueblo of Isleta, and Veterans Path to Hope.

We’re honored that this longstanding, effective program has chosen to adopt the Impact Suite as a more efficient way to handle AmeriCorps member files, timesheets, financial monitoring, financial reporting, and case management.  With the Impact Suite, program and partner staff will be able to shift massive amounts of time from administrative and grant compliance tasks towards efforts focused on program quality.  Simultaneously, members will be gaining a far more efficient and friendly way of logging their AmeriCorps hours, updating their files, and tracking their activities and impact with clients.

Legacy Corps is the latest national AmeriCorps program to adopt the Impact Suite, joining Impact America, Lead For America, Jesuit Volunteer Corps Northwest, Breakthrough Collaborative, Campus Compact, Playworks, Generation Teach, and many others.

Welcome!!
